IEI Receives $260,000 to Address Digital Divide in Eastern North Carolina

IEI has received two grants totaling $260,000 to assist communities in eastern North Carolina with digital inclusion planning, bringing the institute closer to its goal of all 100 counties having a local-level digital inclusion plan in place by the end of 2024.

Students and others who identify cost as a barrier to registering for the 2024 Emerging Issues Forum can still submit a scholarship application to attend the forum for free. Applications are being accepted until 5 p.m. on Jan. 31, 2024.

Registration is open for the 2023 Emerging Issues Forum, which will take place Monday, February 13, 2023, at the NC State University McKimmon Center in Raleigh.
