IEI Releases Roadmap to Financial Resilience

IEI has released the Roadmap to Financial Resilience, a framework of strategies and tactics to boost the financial resilience of households in North Carolina. It includes four elements and related strategies and tactics to strengthen resilience levels across the state, particularly for lower-income households.

Financial Resilience Community Cohort Announced

IEI is excited to announce the five regional teams that will make up the Financial Resilience community cohort. The cohort met for the first time on June 26 at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library on NC State’s Centennial Campus.

Emerging Issues Forum Explores Financial Resilience for NC Families

IEI held the 2024 Emerging Issues Forum on the topic of household financial resilience on Feb. 13 in Raleigh. Nearly 400 attendees from across the state gathered to examine and discuss how NC families can withstand and recover from economic challenges.

Applications are now being accepted for IEI's new Financial Resilience Community Cohort. Five community-based organizations from across the state will be selected to join the cohort and work together to support building financial resilience locally.
