Bio

Mia Cooper is the Digital Communications Manager at IEI, supporting the Communications and Marketing team. She creates and implements digital communication and content marketing strategies to amplify IEI’s story and strengthen its brand across platforms, including social media, newsletters, websites, videography and more.

Mia is from Knightdale, NC. She received her bachelor’s degree in mass communications from NC Central University. Prior to joining IEI, Mia worked as a communicator for Duke University’s School of Medicine and the Duke Clinical Research Institute specializing in research communications and community engagement. She enjoys writing, reading, photography, film, music and traveling. Mia also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Mia has been with IEI since 2024.
