Bio

Julia Kardos is the Policy and Program Associate at IEI. She leads project management activities for the annual Emerging Issues Forum and its related multi-year program of work. She also supports IEI’s National Advisory Board.

Julia is originally from central New Jersey. She received a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Virginia Tech in 2018. Prior to IEI, Julia worked in education policy where she planned convenings for state-level policymakers throughout the country. Julia enjoys cooking, trips to the beach and watching documentaries. Julia and her boyfriend, Matt, have two cats – Nathaniel and Ophelia.

Julia has been with IEI since 2022.
