Save the Date: Annual Faith & Community Conference in Greensboro, Tuesday, Feb. 28
The Faith & Community initiative at the Institute for Emerging Issues, and its signature Rural Faith Communities as Anchor Institutions (RFCAI) program, will be gathering in-person for a statewide conference in Greensboro on Tuesday, February 28, from 9 a.m until 4 p.m. This will be our 7th statewide faith and community development gathering since 2016.
At this gathering, we’ll all share what’s needed right now, what we’re paying attention to and how we are taking care of ourselves and each other.
- We’ll workshop our partnerships – the ones we have and the ones we want.
- We’ll examine our contexts – our ministry ecosystems, support networks and community leadership goals.
- Finally, we’ll explore the deep relational work that’s needed for sustainability, resiliency and thriving community work.
We’re excited about connecting in-person and hope you’ll join us!
Registration opens in early January.
