What: The 2019 Emerging Issues Forum, “ReCONNECT Rural and Urban: Exploring new ways to define, celebrate and leverage Rural and Urban interconnections to build a more prosperous NC.

When: Monday, February 11, 2019

Where: Raleigh Marriott City Center, 500 Fayetteville St, Raleigh, NC 27601.

Why: The Forum is a part of IEI’s ReCONNECT NC initiative, a six-part series to address the loss of connection — to work, to civic institutions, to one another — that has serious and measurable consequences for North Carolina’s economy and our individual well-being. This forum is the second of six Emerging Issues Forums over the next three years that focuses on different strategies to address our loss of connection.

Who: The Forum provides an opportunity for community leaders from across the state in business, education, government, non-profit, and faith community sectors to collaborate, share information, and connect as we move forward to solve this emerging issue of reconnecting NC.

Cost: Early Bird pricing through December 31, 2018 – $250, Regular price beginning January 1, 2019 – $275, 5% discount on a group purchase of eight tickets or more.
