    • This action plan provides feedback on how both public and private sectors can take action to improve outcomes for children in North Carolina by the year 2025 with a lot of attention to metrics and data.

  • Pathways Measures of Success & Action Framework – North Carolina Early Childhood Foundation
    • Framework to improve literacy outcomes for children and ways to measure progress.
  • Birth – Third Grade Interagency Council Progress Report 
    • Report with council meeting updates and policy recommendations in three areas: Transitions and Continuity, Data Driven Improvement and Outcomes, Teacher and Administrator Preparations and Effectiveness.
  • Funding for NC Pre-K: House Bill 886, General Assembly of North Carolina Session 2019
    • The Division of Child Development and Early Education will conduct two studies on the local challenges of expanding NC Pre-K. After the completion of the studies a report will be submitted by February 1, 2020. This report will include recommended changes in the State funding structure and recommendations to address the challenges in order to help achieve the goal of enrolling 75% of eligible children in each county.
