Forum Scholarship Opportunities for Education Leaders

Scholarship Opportunities for Education Leaders

The 2014 Emerging Issues Forum, Teachers and the Great Economic Debate, will be held on February 10-11, 2014 at the Raleigh Convention Center. In order for this conversation to be effective, we must engage citizens from every corner of the state, and we must involve our state’s best education leaders in every step of the process. To that end, we are offering two types of scholarships for educational leaders for this year’s Forum.

Goodnight Educational Foundation Scholarships

The Institute for Emerging Issues, in partnership with the Goodnight Educational Foundation, is pleased to offer a limited number of scholarships for K-12 principals, superintendents and school board members to attend the 29th Annual Emerging Issues Forum, Teachers and the Great Economic Debate, which will be held February 10-11, 2014, at the Raleigh Convention Center.

Applicants will be considered across geography and in the order in which they are received. To apply, please take five minutes to complete this survey.

Scholarship applications will be accepted through January 13, 2014. Those selected will be notified by January 17.

Teacher Ambassadors

IEI has partnered with the Belk Foundation to bring K-12 teachers from across the state to the Emerging Issues Forum, free of charge, to serve as Teacher Ambassadors. The Teacher Ambassadors Program allows us to bring these important voices to the table and then send them out across the state to put ideas into action within their schools and communities.
